The Strategic Asset Tracking System is an enterprise class solution offering a comprehensive asset database and a flexible mobile computing application. In addition to being able to scan and read barcode asset IDs in the field to update asset information, the mobile software allows the user to scan or enter room locations and perform audit inventories. The mobile application will read all of the barcode asset tags in a given location and prompt the user if assets expected to be in the location were not found, if a new asset was found, or if an asset was moved from a previous location. Any data fields in the PC database can also be collected on the mobile computer. Once synced to the PC, updates are accessed by other system users.
