The technical services team is well versed in the entire range of mobile computing devices and support applications. Additionally, our development team has completed countless custom software applications operating on Windows CE and Mobile operating platforms. Together this gives us the ability to provide off the shelf as well as entirely custom solutions to meet our customer’s specific needs.

Services

- Device Selection - With hundreds of device options to choose from, selecting the right mobile device for your application can be a daunting task. Considerations include scanner type (laser, imager, 1D, 2D), drop spec/durability, keypad configuration, battery life, operating system, memory, ease of use and price. Our knowledgeable technical services team can help make device selection easier.

- Device Configuration - Once a device is selected, Strategic Systems can provide consulting services to test and document device settings, application access rights, and software file installation processes.

- Remote Device Management - As part of an overall deployment, it is practical to provide key staff members or help desk staff with the tools necessary to remotely update, take control of mobile devices or check on overall device health. The technical services staff can provide both consulting and implementation services to implement a remote device management tool with a mobile device roll out.

- Data Collection Software - In the event you do not have a pre-existing software application for the mobile devices, Strategic Systems can either recommend an off-the-shelf software application or our software engineers can develop a custom application to fit your specific needs.
