Strategic Systems and Technology specializes in the design and integration of data collection systems that address critical business challenges. Radio frequency identification (RFID) systems provide an efficient means of passively collecting data or collecting data when line of sight is not practical. Our RFID trained staff can design and implement RFID solutions with a range of reader and tag options.

Services

- RFID Tags - Based on the system environment and type of data to be collected, Strategic Systems can recommend the type of tag (passive or active), the frequency of the tag, the material the tag is made of, the placement of the tag, and the proper means of encoding the tag.

- Mobile Readers - With extensive experience deploying RFID solutions, our technical services team is in a unique position to recommend the appropriate handheld or forklift mounted RFID reader and then install and implement the solution.

- Fixed Readers - Selection and set up of RFID portal equipment is critical to the success of an RFID deployment. Our system designers evaluate the application and select reader hardware, appropriate antennas and portal design to improve project implementation. Systems can then be installed and configured by the technical services team.

- Data Collection Software - Data collected by mobile or fixed readers must be transmitted and organized to be useful. Strategic System’s software engineers can program custom applications to integrate with RFID equipment, capture this data and provide reports or interfaces with existing business systems.
